  1. Step 1: Log each purchase

    Every time you buy this yarn, log the date, price, currency, and quantity. Three skeins in March and two more in May each get their own line.

    HookPlan turns your purchases into a cost per yard or meter automatically. Now you know what that blanket actually cost, if you are brave enough to look.

    Purchases are multi-currency aware, using the default from Settings. Souvenir yarn from a trip abroad fits right in alongside the local stuff.
