Patterns
Switch between US and UK terms
One toggle converts a whole pattern between US and UK stitch names.
Step 1: Toggle terms on any pattern
Every pattern carries its own US/UK switch, so a British pattern can stay in UK terms while the rest of your library speaks US. Flip it any time; nothing is lost in translation.

Step 2: Watch the abbreviations update
When you switch, every stitch abbreviation in the pattern updates instantly. A US sc becomes a UK dc, and so on through the whole pattern.

Step 3: Set your default
In Settings, choose the default terms for new patterns. HookPlan starts with a sensible guess based on your region, and you can change it whenever you like.
